    ***Recent Results ***

    The Adelaide Aces successfully organised the baseball competition on behalf of the Riverland Masters Games, held at Loxton on 16th, 17th and 18th April.

    The Aces were honoured when Mal Sporne was selected to read the Athletes' Oath on behalf of all the competing atheletes at the opening ceremony of the Masters Games.

    The Aces had two new coaches for the Games.

    Dwayne Scales was the successful coach of the Adelaide Aces [Red group] and Jeff Tapfield the Adelaide Aces [blue group]. Thanx to Dwayne and Jeff the teams enjoyed a great weekend of baseball.

    The Adelaide Aces won the GOLD medal in the Red group, the Aussie Aces won SILVER in the Blue group and the Adelaide Aces won BRONZE in the Blue group also

    Congratulations to the Riverland team that won Gold in the Blue group.

    The Aces fielded several new players, with players driving 11 and 14 hours to play baseball. We had 4 players from Melbourne, 1 from Sydney, Canberra and Port Augusta. Thanx for making the effort guys, it was great to have you all together for this tournament.

    AUSSIE ACES win games in USA

    The teams competing in the 2003 World Series had their best results ever.

    Both teams won games and if they had been able to train together before the Series may have won others.

    See separate report in new events.

    The 58+ team made their playoffs and lost to the Virgin Islands 14 - 8.

    All 34 players represented Australia and the Aces very well
